One of the most wonderful parts of the holiday season for Indianapolis is our local “Christmas at the Zoo” light display. Since 1967, the Indianapolis Zoo has been a bright beacon among the city’s backdrop for locals and tourists alike. With thousands of colorful lights strung about, you can enjoy the experience with a regular admissions ticket from 5-9 PM. A bonus for this year is that the Zoo is primarily outside, making it a safe holiday tradition that the whole family can enjoy!
What better way to spend an evening with Bubbles than at the zoo with all his friends?
So, we did just that. All bundled up in our big winter coats, each armed with a nice hot cup cocoa, we ventured into the lights with Bubbles in hand and you would not believe what we saw! Bubbles felt right at home in the Oceans exhibit with his underwater friends. Penguins, sea lions, and bears, oh my! Bubbles even got to take a ride on a Zebra (exclaimer: no Zebras were hurt during this production).
Take some advice from Bubbles this year and visit the Indianapolis “Christmas at the Zoo” which will run until December 30th.
